“We can’t execute our plans well. I think we went for workers’ ers and didn’t finish low full deliveries and little volleys. I think that’s where it went wrong. I think it should have been different if they had adhered to that hard length, wicket-to-wicket, as the Namibian bowlers lly well.”
Earlier in the session, Sri Lanka appeared to be on course to score about 180, but they were unable to maintain the pace and only managed 152. The UAE bowlers’ outstanding effort was important in bringing things back. It was largely due to Karthik Meiyappan’s Hat-Trick, which turned the game on its head. Later, though, UAE was unable to increase the heat with the blade and was bundled out for 73 runs.

Sri Lanka ripped the UAE team’s hearts out. The bowler never gave the hitters a chance to rest at the wicket. Dushmantha Chameera was the one who let the game begin, and boy, was he happy to be back from injury. However, to the chagrin of Sri Lankan fans, he failed to complete hiperiodsriod after collapsing from a niggle in his run-up. Hopefully, he will return soon and this will not hamper Sri Lanka’s journey. Dushmantha Chameera was the standout performer, taking three wickets. Wanindu Hasaranga Mahesheesh Theekshana also contributed with the ball, taking 5 wickets between them.
