Shadab Khan (born 4 December 1994) is a Pakistani cricketer who plays for the Pakistani national cricket team. He is a right-arm leg-spin bowler and a lower-order batsman. Khan made his international debut for Pakistan in September 2016, taking the wicket of West Indies batsman Marlon Samuels in his first over.

Shadab Khan is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm leg-break bowler. He made his debut for Pakistan in the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.

Shadab Khan was born on 4 October 1998 in Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan. He is 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m) tall and weighs approximately 70 kg (154 lb). Shadab has black hair and dark brown eyes.

Shadab Khan made his international debut for Pakistan in the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. He played two matches in the tournament, taking three wickets at an average of 20.00. Shadab’s first Twenty20 International wicket was that of Virat Kohli, whom he dismissed for 19 runs.

Shadab Khan is a Pakistani cricketer. He made his One Day International (ODI) debut against Sri Lanka on October 13, 2017 and Test debut against West Indies on April 21, 2018.

Khan was born on October 4, 1998, in Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan. He is the son of Manzoor Khan and Parveen Akhtar. His father used to play cricket at the district level. Shadab started playing cricket at a very young age and was selected for the Punjab U-19 team in 2013.

He made his first-class debut for Islamabad in the 2016–17 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament on October 11, 2016. Shadab was the leading wicket-taker for Islamabad in the tournament with 27 dismissals in six matches. He was also include in Pakistan’s squad for the 2017 Champions Trophy but did not play any match.

On September 6, 2019, Khan took his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi.

Parents & Siblings

Shadab Khan is the son of former first-class cricketer Mumtaz Khan. Shadab’s elder brother Shoaib Khan is also a cricketer who has represented Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League.

Shadab was born on 4 October 1998 in Mianwali, Punjab, Pakistan. He started playing cricket at a young age and was select for the Under-19 team at the age of 17.

Shadab made his international debut for Pakistan in an ODI against West Indies in April 2017. He has since played 11 ODIs and 5 T20Is for his country.

In August 2018, Shadab was name as the vice-captain of Pakistan’s Test team for their series against Australia.

Career

Shadab Khan is a professional cricket player who has represented Pakistan in both Test and ODI cricket. Shadab made his Test debut against West Indies in April 2017 and scored his maiden Test century in the second innings of the same match. He was also part of Pakistan’s Champions Trophy-winning squad in 2017.

In October 2018, Shadab was rule out of Pakistan’s tour to New Zealand due to a virus infection. However, he made a successful return to the side for the 2019 Cricket World Cup.

Khan has been Islamabad’s leading wicket-taker in both editions of the PSL, taking 20 wickets in 2016 and 18 wickets in 2018. He was also name as the Emerging Player of the Tournament in 2016.

At international level, Khan made his debut for Pakistan in an ODI match against West Indies in 2017. He has since gone on to play 11 ODIs and 10 T20Is for his country. He played a key role in Pakistan’s victory at the 2017 Champions Trophy, taking 12 wickets across the tournament including 3/19 against arch-rivals India in the final.

Khan’s excellent form saw him nominated for the prestigious ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year award in 2018, an accolade he duly won. He is only the second Pakistani cricketer to win this award after Mohammad Hafeez claimed it back in 2012.
