Opener Devon Conway set the bar high with a stunning half-century while Glenn Phillips ran Bangladesh’s bowlers out of the park with a scorching 60 off 24 balls. The New Zealand batsmen dominated the opposition’s bowling unit, scoring 66 runs in the final five overs to reach 208/5 in the allowed 20 overs.

The opening duo of Conway & Finn Allen scored 45 runs in just 25 balls for the Blackcaps after they were allowed to bat by the visitors, but the latter was eventually bowled by Shoriful Islam. Following a 32 off-19 performance, which included three fours and two sixes, Allen walked back.
Williamson was replaced at No. 3 by Martin Guptil, who made an impressive debut in the ongoing Tri-series. He scored 34 runs while hitting three fours and a six, and he and Conway helped to sustain the Blackcap’s batting with a tough 87-run partnership for the second wicket.

Conway, on the other hand, left the field in the 17th over after scoring a stunning 64 off 40 while Phillips, the No. 4 hitter, slammed 5 sixes & two fours to put his team in control of the game.
Mohammad Saifuddin but also Ebadot Hussain both claimed two wickets for Bangladesh, and Shoriful also claimed a victim.
